Traveling is the best education. Since my husband was having his business, so I took my son to the Kidspace Children’s Museum. So many new things for him!
Ramen research time!!! 🍜😊 Yes! While visiting Los Angeles, I visited the famous ramen shop called Daikokuya (大黒屋).

At the event, I tried dirty chai ☕️ (sooo yum!!!), Berry donut with fried chicken 🍗🍩 and onigiri rice balls 🍙! Yes, Japanese food! The fillings were a little bit different. I mean, they were localized.

It’s time to go overseas to do “food research”!!!
My family and I visited LA for half holiday and half “food research” last week. In the airplane, I booked “Low carbohydrate meal” for me and “Child meal” for my son. You can choose various meals from ANA’s website in advance.
Some of you may know but I visited Mie & Wakayama prefecture in June for researching.
Yes, it was both family trip and research trip!
In this video, I will introduce what we did in the Day 1.
Enjoy this trip with us!
There are many way of eating Ramen. Usually people imagine that ramen is a soup with egg noodles inside. This is the traditional style. I went to the Tsuke-men style ramen restaurant the other day. Tsuke-men is dipping noodle dish in Japanese.
Weekend has come! My family loves to eat pancake on weekend. (Mario and Luigi even taste small portion of pancake.) I always enjoy experimenting and adding new seasonings to create new flavors. This day, I tried matcha flavor pancake topped with Kinako (=soybean powder) and Kuromitsu (=brown sugar syrup) and the vegetables pancake with sweet corn and pumpkin inside. Oh, I like the simple pancake with butter and maple syrup as well. Happy weekend!
